Description

  • 2 cups Minute rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can water (use one of the soup cans for measurement)
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s hot and ready once the casserole is prepared.

2️⃣ Grease the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with butter to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.

3️⃣ Mix the Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, Minute rice, and water. Stir until well mixed, ensuring the rice is evenly coated with the creamy soup mixture.

4️⃣ Assemble the Casserole: Pour the rice and soup mixture into the greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly. Then, lay the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture, spacing them evenly.

5️⃣ Add the Onion Soup Mix: Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts. This adds a rich, savory flavor to the dish.

6️⃣ Bake the Casserole: Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap the moisture. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the rice is tender.
