  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1¼ cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1½ cups whole milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 16 ounce package fettuccine
  • Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the butter and allow it to melt. Add in the minced garlic, garlic powder, and salt, then whisk together to combine.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the melted butter and garlic mixture. Whisk to combine, then gradually add the heavy cream and milk while continuing to whisk. Bring the sauce to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and whisk until fully combined.
  5. Add the cooked and drained fettuccine to the sauce, using tongs to toss the pasta in the creamy sauce.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
